Empire Lighting Design

AMAZING! Thats all I can say! The guys (and gal) and Empire were so much fun! They helped me visualize the room and think about what it could be! We ended up doing a custom "gobo" with our initials and colored lights around the room...my photographer said she has some AMAZING photos with everything coming together with the entire decor! SO WORTH EVERY PENNY! (we opted to cut out some flower and party favors in order to do lighting but it was SO worth it PLUS we didn't have to do anything!

Empire Lighting & Design by Zach provided elegant and fun lighting for Wedding at the Mayo in the Grand Ball Room. He was able to help us find the right amount of accent lighting and spotlighting to make the event feel warm and comfortable. Zach met with us personally at his office and at the Mayo to help make these decisions.

Since I was "non traditional" and had my ceremony and reception all at the same venue/room, I was looking for something to "transform" my room from ceremony to reception/party time. After finding Empire's website and seeing some samples I knew that's what I wanted. Maverick and the people at Empire are easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. I can now say the pictures don't do the actually lighting justice. I was able to do a natural candlelit ceremony and then completely change the lighting for the reception... all in moments! It created a totally different feel for our reception and went beyond my expectations for "the look" I was trying to achieve. The lighting was fun yet elegant and put everyone into party mode (which is what I wanted). The spotlight on my cake made it so beautiful, I am still getting compliments on the cake that I thought was so simple, but the lighting made it look like a million bucks!

Thanks to Empire my daughters one-site venue...looked like 2 different places. The soft candle-lit ceremony was transformend to a very beautiful party room in moments! Exactly what my daughter wanted! It was beautiful, and the pictures she showed me when thinking about spending for "up-lighting" did not do it justice. Definitely worth every penny. They made her cake look gorgeous.......Definitely consider their services for your event!

Empire Lighting did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. The staff was VERY accommodating and very easy to work with. The venue we selected needed ALOT of help but our wedding planner suggested we look at lighting over buying a bunch of toole and christmas lights and WOW our photos look SO AMAZING with the great lighting! HIGHLY recommend lighting!

They were ok. They didn't really communicate things very well with me and when it came to my wedding day and some things were not done in the way that was originally agreed upon, I was confused and later tried to ask them why. They did not apologize that things were not communicated very well with me, they just reminded me of the "extra" effrort they put into ordering some special lights or not charging me for something they didn't quote me for. There were just charges for things that I didn't see at my wedding, like under table lighting, but they said it was there, but I couldn't see it, so what's the point? All my complaints are is that they do not communicate very well; if things were going to change, they should have told me instead of going ahead with it.
