You can't go wrong with a Ludger's cake! Our cake was decorated beautifully and tasted absolutely wonderful!! Everyone loved it and there was hardly a piece left at the end of the reception!

They did a great job. Our bridal cake and groom cake were exactly the way we asked, and delivered on time! Plus, they tasted amazing, so they were quite a hit at the wedding. Add a little srarwberry sauce drizzled over each slice! Yum!

Ludger's Bavarian cream cheesecake is AMAZING. The best tasting cake I have ever tasted. I felt as if they were a tad overpriced, but they are well under some of the places we researched before them, so maybe that's me being sticker shocked at the price of sugar and water and flour mixed together! Overall good experience.

Wonderful cake that was slightly different from the normal dry, bland cakes you get at a normal bakery! Everyone wanted a 2nd piece!

This is the most delicious cake I've ever eaten! It has Bavarian cream in the middle, and has a raspberry drizzle you can put on it that makes it even better! They have both chocolate and vanilla, and can even mix layers if you want them to!

Although we found less expensive wedding cakes, after I sampled Ludgers Bavarian creme filling, I knew it would be hard to choose anything else. We ordered a small 3 tiered cake to feed our 50 guests at our wedding and we have rave reviews about the cake. We chose the top and bottom tier with vanilla cake and the middle with chocolate and chocolate bavarian creme. We loved that we didn't have a cake with nasty-tasting fondant and it looked just the way we wanted it to. Many of our guests went back for a second serving and were dying to know what the filling of the cake was made of. Allison and Jeff were very responsive and professional to work with.
Setup and delivery were a bit pricey but so worth it so we didn't need to worry about an accident getting the cake to the venue in one peice. A fabulous cake for our picture-perfect wedding.

I would definately recommend Ludger's for wedding cake... any cake for that matter. The have the absolute BEST cake ever made. I wanted a wedding cake that was very simple and classic and that is exactly what I got. I was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked!!! I'm looking forward to that anniversary cake that I am getting a year from now!!!

I had several guests comment on how it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. My cake was a four tier cake, and each tier was a different kind of cake. The versatility made most of my guests go back for a second slice.
Excellent to work with, middle of the road on pricing.

The cakes were so delicious. Everything was moist, and tasted excellent. I sent them pics of my grooms cake and then we made it our own. They were real flexible with me. Thank you so much. They do live up to their reputation. I will recommend to friends and family.

Super easy to work with! We met only twice. Once to discuss design and once to pay our bill! Yummy cake available in a variety of flavors (we picked three: vanilla, chocolate, and carrot) that they are happy to let you sample anything!

The cake was beautiful and delicious! They were very helpful and always available when I had questions. I even had my rehearsal dinner there and the food was amazing and the waitstaff were very professional and curtious. You can't go wrong with Ludger's!!

The cake was absolutely beautiful! They had me sold from the first bite... Which was all I got because my 3 year old gobbled it up! We will definitely use them for birthdays, anniversaries etc.

Ludger's bavarian cheesecake was what I picked out for my wedding cake long before I even found the groom. The flavors have increased and evolved over the years, but the deliciousness has always stayed the same. The cake was exactly what I had described to them, the flavor was perfect and everyone loved it. I was definitely pleased. I have no problem recommending them to anyone who doesn't want a regular run of the mill cake.

Their cakes are delicious. With the specific style of cake it is hard to bring a lot of color or design to the cake, so if that is what you are looking for this might not be the place for you. If you are willing to sacrifice a little color for taste it is definitely worth it. Our cake turned out beautiful and delicious. Thank you Allison for all your help!

we had a wedding this past weekend and i've already had so many comments on our cake! even though the design wasn't intricate, they executed our dreams into reality! Allison handled our cake and she did an AMAZING job! not only did it look great, it tasted great too! many people at our wedding said it was the best wedding cake they've ever tried. and yes, maybe a few were just saying that to be kind, but most would not stop going on and on about the moist, delicate flavors that made their tastebuds dance! they made this whole wedding process so much easier since we didn't have to worry about great service; that was a given! use ludgers for your next event or you're crazy!

I had my wedding at the German American Society, so I decided to have Ludger's cater the food. They do authentic German catering. I am not German, but I wanted the food to be different and to go with where we were having the wedding. The food was amazing! Everyone loved it and the setup was beautiful. They were very professional and did a beautiful job! There is a package at the German American Society that includes the catering and all the table set up. I highly recommend doing this. I tried to price everything individually to save money (linens, dishes, catering, etc.) all it did was put to much on my plate and actually individually it was about the same or more money than doing a package.

We had a Cheesecake Cake for our wedding cake and a Chocolate Cheesecake for our groomscake and both were as good to eat as they were to look at! The cakes were designed exactly what we wanted and I was very pleased. They are fast to work with which was great since I was an out-of-town bride. The only issue is that they are slow to return emails. I recommend a call or just showing up. Other than that they were amazing. Absolutely the BEST cake in town.
